Brian Appel is a South Carolina resident and was born and raised in Augusta, GA. He graduated as a Hope Scholar with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Georgia in 2006, and began his career in management at Sherwin-Williams Paint Company. In 2007, Brian joined Keystone Homes, Inc. as a new home salesperson and Realtor in Augusta, GA. There, he was involved in the sale of over 400 homes.

In 2014, he was brought on to be Keystone’s Director of Sales, where he recruited, trained, and managed over 30 new home sales agents. He also led sales efforts to expand into Savannah and Statesboro markets, and took an active project management role as a part of Keystone’s leadership team.

Keystone’s sales team was so successful that Brian became actively involved in the acquisition of land and lots for building and development, to replenish the supply of land and lot inventory. In this role, Brian put together several key purchases up until he left Keystone that were or will be extremely profitable.

Brian has been recognized with the President’s Club award with Meybohm Real Estate Company, and with the Leadership Circle and Chairman’s Circle awards with Blanchard and Calhoun Real Estate Company. He’s an active member of the Sales and Marketing Council in Augusta, GA and has served as Treasurer and as a member of the Board of Directors for two years.

Brian is a licensed real estate agent and Realtor, licensed to do business in Georgia and South Carolina.

Brian began his role as Director of Development with Moon River Capital on April 1, 2020.
