Letter from the Manager
I grew up on the marshes and rivers of coastal Georgia. I spent my childhood in an outdoor arena that was beautiful beyond compare. Dolphins, otters, cranes and other birds, fish, shrimp and crabs were abundant. Marshes, hummocks, islands and rivers were our world.
As an adult I learned of the importance of the ecosystems that I grew up in. As I watched more and more of this rare and valuable land being consumed and developed in unsustainable ways, I determined that we should try and do something about it.
Moon River Capital grew out of the idea that there are ways for landowners to monetize their land without seeing it over developed and the natural habitats destroyed. We look for ways to provide sometimes much needed capital to landowners and at the same time, preserve the beauty of nature. Our business purpose is to raise funds that provide capital for high-quality real estate projects.
Our staff includes CPA’s and attorneys. We partner with surveyors, appraisers, engineering firms, biologists, foresters, and others who are the best in their respective fields.

Tony brings 35 years of tax knowledge and experience to the firm. Having first served in public accounting, and later serving as the CFO of a large private company, Tony uses his vast experience and technical knowledge to tailor solutions to meet clients’ objectives.

As the Director of Operations, Kat works closely with all of our staff to oversee company functionality and communication as well as to actively manage start-to-finish land development or protection projects.
